Since 2016, Kwarts has focused on improving healthcare professional (HCP) journeys by leveraging data that is now scattered across different silos with the objective to enable sales & marketing teams in the Life Sciences industry to communicate in a customized way with the HCP and thus deliver more value to caregivers.

Kwarts’ founding team combines 20 years of relevant expertise in Life Sciences, with knowledge of innovative practices on data-driven customer centricity in FMCG, retail and e-commerce.

By creating technology and solutions that are smart, intuitive and useful this ambitious scale-up aims to be the leading customer data platform in Life Sciences.

What will you be doing

  • You will contribute to innovative AI technology, in close contact with international clients in Life Science and on the crossroad of marketing, sales and IT – in projects with impact & visibility
  • You are the end responsible for the software architecture and infrastructure of our application in a broad sense, with focus on back-end performance and scalability, and of course the end user.
  • You search for the biggest common denominator over multiple clients, and translate this into useful product features.
  • You prioritize product features in the Product Roadmap and sprint planning
  • You define in JIRA what needs to happen, and you estimate the complexity of it by internal alignment with technical profiles (back-end, data science) and commercial profiles (customer success, project managers)
  • End-to-end development: from data infrastructure, data architecture, data security and user management, up until development, testing and debugging of our back-end in AWS and APIs, and documenting your work in Confluence.
  • You contribute in defining the strategy for the product team and you proactively and timely start looking for reinforcement as Kwarts is growing
  • You share knowledge in Lunch & Learns.

Technical Skills

  • 5-7 years experience in developing a SaaS product in a scale-up
  • Knowledge and experience in AWS Cloud infrastructure (Terraform), high availability & scalable software/back-end engineering and related aspects, such as the set-up of data pipelines (Python with Pandas) via AWS S3 or REST API and AWS Batch & StepFunctions to run ETL jobs, RDS (Postgres) database management in SQL and/or GraphQL
  • Experience in deployment of ML-models and code in Docker/Kubernetes or similar
  • Experience with Git version control & Git workflows (AWS CodeCommit)
  • Familiar with the set-up of a SAM AWS Python API-infrastructure
  • Familiar with data privacy -and security guidelines such as GDPR, SOC2 and ISO27001
  • Experience with Data Warehousing, ETL Pipelines, large complex data sets, complex SQL queries/NoSQL platforms
  • Good vision to make our software architecture future-proof, with attention for stability and performance
  • Bachelor or Master in IT or web development or similar by experience

Bonus Points

  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation development such as Salesforce
  • Experience in B2B Cloud Software and with AI/ML (Machine Learning) components in Python development
  • Knowledge of French and / or Dutch
