Gasket games is a new video game development startup based in Vancouver, BC. Founded in 2018 by industry veterans of AAA and mobile development, we are on a mission to build great games that give us new ways to connect.  We’re a small team where everyone’s contribution matters.

We are developing platform services to support spectating at scale while managing a queue of players and we want you to help us get there. You have experience and interest in building server technology using docker, kubernetes, or something else. You also have experience with developing software with Python.

What will you do?

  • Learn about and implement new technologies to help us develop platform services.

  • Collaborate and communicate with other teams to integrate work

  • Have a working knowledge of Containers; i.e. Docker or Kubernetes, ideally with experience transitioning an organization through its adoption.

You have experience with some (but not necessarily all) of the following tech:

  • Python

  • Python asyncio

  • Memcached

  • Redis

  • Docker

  • Kubernetes

  • AWS

  • Azure

  • Unreal Engine

  • Git
