About GameAnalytics

GameAnalytics is the #1 free analytics tool designed to help game developers and publishers drive conversions, refine critical flows, and boost retention for their titles by making the right decisions based on data. Currently, 50,000+ game developers use GameAnalytics to track performance in 65,000+ titles around the globe.

About the team

You will be performing a leading role in establishing a new API development team in the GameAnalytics Copenhagen office. The team will be working on our most vital API managing authentication/authorization and the business logic for all our users, studios & games.

We are planning development on major new product offerings and the team will be involved in all areas of planning/designing and development. While also considering maintenance, refactoring and tests.

Responsibilities

  • As an experienced developer you will be a key contributor involved in planning and developing our new product offering.
  • Discuss and contribute with ideas with the product team and design optimal architecture solutions.
  • The team will take ownership of our user-api (currently based on Python) - planning additional features, refactoring, tests and (potentially) splitting into microservices.
  • Managing the AWS resources and deployment procedures in collaboration with the London Backed Team.
  • Keep code quality high using thorough code reviews (pull requests) and documented standards.
  • Train, coach and hire team members.

Our recruitment process:

1. A coding challenge via Hackerrank because we want to hire people based primarily on merit.

2. A panel discussion with the immediate team that you'll be working closely with and growing.

3. Another panel with the wider Engineering team to have a better idea of what your peers are like and whether you'd like our company culture.

4. An informal call with our CEO since all hires are vital.
